Diversity and inclusion are two highly relevant concepts and, although they do not have the same meaning, they need to go hand in hand within organizations. When adopted correctly, they become essential business strategies.
As society evolves, companies have been adapting the way they organize themselves internally. When it comes to a plurality of profiles, HR professionals need to build a diverse and inclusive culture together with employees.
To share more about the experience of adopting these measures and implementing programs, we invited Suellen Caleiras, South America Diversity and Inclusion Manager at Ball Corporation. She explains the guidelines the organization used to build this vision, shares the actions carried out, and proposes reflections for companies seeking to implement this culture internally.
With more than 10 years at Ball, Suellen is Diversity and Inclusion Manager for Brazil, Chile, Argentina, and Paraguay, and is responsible for implementing Ball’s global Diversity & Inclusion policy, leading initiatives and practices that promote the development of an increasingly diverse and inclusive environment.
