This week is Human Rights Week, and December 10 is celebrated as International Human Rights Day. We came across a really great story that has everything to do with the “Right to Education” and how companies and education can come together.
We brought Regia Barbosa, Superintendent of Organizational Development and Culture at Neoenergia, for a conversation with Débora Honda, partner at Clave, about a very special project they have been developing.
In addition to her experiences, she shares tips on how you can also value education within your organization.
“Our workforce is made up of a very large number of electricians—almost five thousand people—and today there isn’t widespread training available for electricians. We didn’t know how to hire these people,” says Regia. “We are working on income generation, job creation, making it possible for these people to have the opportunity for better employment,” she adds.
